Founding Executive Director | Canadian Web3 Council

I successfully launched and run Canada's first crypto and Web3 industry association, elevating the industry’s profile with governments, regulators, media, and Canadians. I've been at the forefront of policy and regulatory strategy for the crypto and Web3 sectors, working closely with Canada's largest blockchain and crypto firms, including Wealthsimple, Coinbase, Kraken and the Ethereum Foundation.

I played a pivotal role in market launches and expansion, and helped orchestrate a comprehensive global policy and stakeholder engagement strategy to scale REEF’s logistics and mobility hubs.

2020 - 2021

Global Public Policy Lead, Personal & Health Safety | Uber (Global)

I helped develop and manage global policy frameworks and stakeholder relations for personal safety initiatives. My work successfully influenced EU regulations, and established key partnerships in LATAM and North America, enabling launch for advanced safety technologies.

2018 - 2020

Senior Public Policy Associate | Uber (Canada)

I helped launch Uber’s ride share services in Metro Vancouver and Halifax, while also securing 12 permanent regulations across the Greater Toronto Area. I formed a network of key stakeholders across Canada on key issues, enabling new product launches.

• I spent five years working in various roles in government working for elected officials, Ministers and in the bureaucracy.
• I spent two years working as a consultant lobbyist, advancing the interests of various federal and provincial clients, including, healthcare, energy, agriculture, technology and financial services.
• I spent one year working with technology startups, wearing many hats ranging from product management and communications, to finance and operations.
